Prism Johnson Limited (Formerly Prism Cement Limited) is India's largest integrated Building Materials Company with a wide range from cement, ready-mixed concrete, tiles & bath products. The Company has three Divisions, viz. Cement, H & R Johnson (India), and RMC (India).
The Cement Division of the Company operates one of the largest single kiln cement plants in the country at Satna, Madhya Pradesh with a packing unit at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Prism Cement primarily caters to the demand in the Northern Region, mainly in the States of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. The production capacity is 5.6 million tons of cement per annum. The capacity expansion has established the Division's brand in new markets and to a larger consumer base.
To perform a market survey of the existing dealers as well as prospective dealers doing cement and con-cement business, the field representatives of the company visit the counters and fill-in a questionnaire form asking certain general and specific details. At present, this task is carried out using paper-pen as a tool which has many inherent issues. Hence the client is looking at digitizing this task with a simple and easy to use the mobile application to conduct this survey and store the data in the digital form. Our Mobile application for the survey personnel (field representative) and web application-based back end for the admin will improve the efficiency and save a lot of man hours and cost in doing so.
